Watsonians II and West Lothian won their matches in Baillie Gifford East One on Saturday with both sides now looking to kick on after difficult starts to the campaign.
The Edinburgh side travelled to the Borders to take on pacesetters Gala and, despite a tricky wicket, managed to dig in and win by 37 runs.
At Boghall, West Lothian restricted Edinburgh Accies to 179-8 batting first. West Lothian lost eight wickets in reply but got home 180-8.
Rizwan Ullah now has 12 league wickets for the season after his 5-16 led the way as Musselburgh defeated Edinburgh South.
Batting first Edinburgh South made just 112, but Musselburgh struggled in their reply until a hard fought 36 not out from Hemant Verma got the East Lothian outfit home at Lewisvale.
Captain Rob More made 56, but it was not enough to stop Heriot’s II losing at Kelso.
Heriot’s made 180-6 batting first at Shedden Park, Steve Litster backing up More with 44 and Coin Thomson making 29.
Kelso, who are now top of the division, had little trouble reaching their victory target, ex-Heriot’s man Craig Adams rubbing things in with 23 not out.
Dunnikier defeated St Boswells by 125 runs. Sunday’s Dunnikier-Eastern Knights under-18 match was off.
Morton are still in top spot in East Two after beating Falkland II by 28 runs. The Edinburgh side were 112 all out, but then bowled Falkland out for 84.
