Woodcutters cricket club are set for the second round of their Balearic Isles challenge tomorrow when they head to Majorca on an end-of-season tour.
Last summer the North Edinburgh-based club celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to take on Ibiza cricket club and once again they are celebrating.
Recently they became the first non-league side to feature in the ESCA President’s Plate Final.
Club Captain Duncan Scott said: “This has been one of the best summers of cricket for the Woodcutters and what better way to close it than to spread the word of Scottish Cricket overseas?”
The tourists will play two matches over the weekend: a 40-overs game on Saturday followed by a Twenty20 fixture.
