Edinburgh Falcons cycle speedway team have retained the Four Bike Challenge title at Mosshouses.

The event, organised by Trevor Bryant, is held annually as a fundraiser for the Scottish Schools Cycle Speedway League and is raced over a 1km course.

It includes the disciplines of cycle speedway, cyclocross and cross country and the Edinburgh Falcons riders included Marcin Czarkowski, who had only recently returned from a two-week trip cycling from Wroclaw, Poland, to Edinburgh.

As a follow up Marcin will attempt a sponsored charity ride from Skye to Edinburgh in a day.

Recent exertions proved no barrier to Marcin who reeled off six straight wins as Falcons triumphed with 48 points – eight clear of second placed Liberton High School Bike Club.
