Hearts striker Osman Sow has been cut from 20/1 to 8/1 with McBookie to be the Championship’s top goal scorer this season on the back of fierce support from Hearts fans.

The Swede, who moved to Tynecastle this summer after a spell in England with Crystal Palace, has been an instant hit with the Gorgie faithful and scored on his full debut last weekend against Annan in the Petrofac Training Cup.

McBookie spokesman Paul Petrie said: “It looks as though plenty of punters were impressed by Sow’s debut at Tynecastle last weekend as just about every bet laid in the last 24 hours in this market has been for the Swede.”

Rangers striker Kris Boyd remains favourite to score most goals in the Championship at 4/7.
