Hearts are once again likely to be without strikers James Keatings and Dale Carrick for this weekend’s trip to Easter Road to face Hibs.

Keatings has sat out Hearts’ last three matches with a groin problem and has only an outside chance of being involved this weekend. Carrick missed Saturday’s 5-1 win over Dumbarton with a hamstring injury sustained playing for the Under-20s last week and has been all but ruled out of the derby. However, Osman Sow and Danny Wilson are both deemed to have a good chance of starting after their recent hamstring issues.

“Keatings is still struggling but he might make it,” said head coach Robbie Neilson. “Carrick will probably struggle for Sunday. Other than those two, we should be fine.”

If Keatings and Carrick miss out, 18-year-old striker Robbie Buchanan, an unused substitute against Dumbarton, would have a chance of retaining his place on the bench.
