Hearts will play Infonet Tallinn from Estonia in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.

The first leg will take place on Thursday, June 30, at Tynecastle, with the second leg a week later on July 7 in Estonia. Although Hearts were initially drawn to play away first, a clash of fixtures in Tallinn forced UEFA to switch the games.

If Hearts get past Infonet, then they will play Siroki Brijeg of Bosnia or Maltese outfit Birkirkara in the second round of the competition. Hearts defeated Siroki 3-0 on aggregate in the 2006 Champions League qualifiers.

Hearts’ last foray into Europe was in season 2012/13 when they were defeated 2-1 on aggregate by Liverpool in the Europa League play-off round.
