THE youth cup final between Hearts and Rangers is to be screened live on YouTube.

The match at St Mirren Park, which kicks-off at 7.30pm tonight, is being shown for free through the Scottish Cup YouTube channel.

Hearts will enlist the help of Sam Nicholson, Callum Paterson, Dale Carrick, Jordan McGhee, Billy King and Gary Oliver in the hope of bringing silverware back to Tynecastle. For 19-year-old Nicholson, it is an occasion to rival any at senior level.

“I’ve been a youth player at Hearts since I was 16 and the Youth Cup final is something you really target. It’s taken a while but we’ve got there and I’m buzzing for it,” he told the Evening News.

“It’s an under-20 game but it will be just like a first-team game. It will be just as physical, just as sharp and fast.

“The game could go either way. I hope we can win but Rangers are a good side. We’ve played them a few times this season and they are a good passing team. It’s good that we’ve got a lot of first-team experience at under-20 level but Rangers have that too. Charlie Telfer and Andy Murdoch have been with the first team a lot so it will be a hard game.”
