There won’t be many games this season when punters will get Hearts at odds against, but that is the case for the Edinburgh Derby on Sunday.

However, punters have wasted no time in backing them to pick up three points. McBookie.com has already been forced to cut them from 13/10 to 6/5. Hibernian can be backed at 11/5, with the draw 13/5. Punters are advised to get in early if they fancy Hearts, as that price is sure to get shorter.

The competitive nature of the game also means that there is great value in the first scorer market. Osman Sow and James Keatings lead the way on a massive 6/1. Jason Cummings and Dominique Malonga are the best chances for a Hibs goal and can be backed at 13/2. It now looks like Prince Buaben is officially on penalties for Hearts and he is 12/1 for the first goal or 7/2 to score at anytime.

In the correct score market, 1-1 is the current favourite at 7/1, followed by a 2-1 win for Hearts which can be backed at 17/2. All the rest of the correct scores are double figure prices so anyone choosing right is sure to get a big win. 1-0 Hibs is 13/1 whilst a 2-1 win for the home side is 11/1.

Hearts to win on the handicap has been one of the most popular bets of the season, although whether that will still be the case on Sunday remains to be seen. Hearts are 29/10 giving Hibs one goal of a start or 15/2 giving them two goals.

As with all Edinburgh Derbies, tensions will be running high and it is 2/1 for a red card to be shown.

Scottish bookmaker McBookie is offering enhanced odds for new customers on the big game. Hibs fans can get 5/1 whilst Hearts fans can get 7/2. The maximum bet is £10.
