Lennard Sowah has joined KS Cracovia in the Polish top flight.

Sowah was the first of nine signings Ian Cathro made in January, going on to play 22 times for the Jam Tarts.

But the 24-year-old, who joined from Hamilton, was released in the summer as Cathro began reshaping his squad.

The German, who has signed a one year-deal, said: “Before I made the decision I sat down with my family to discuss it and we all felt it would be good for me. I don’t know much about the Polish league but I know Cracovia is a big team.

“And I just had a feeling this would be the right decision for me. Now I just want to start playing and give my best.”
