Lunch with Hollywood star Dougray Scott, dinner with Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill and a round of golf with Easter Road skipper David Gray are among the numerous items being auctioned in support of Hibs longest serving player Lewis Stevenson’s testimonial dinner.
Tickets for the dinner, at which the Proclaimers will play an hour-long set, sold out within a couple of days, half the proceeds from the event at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange going to support two charities of Stevenson’s choice.
Now details of the items which are up for auction have been revealed, and among them are the chance for four to join Scott for lunch and to take in a Hibs match; dinner with former player O’Neill who steered Northern Ireland to the Euro 2016 finals and golf at Archerfield with Scottish Cup winning captain Gray.
The chance to play pool with John McGinn or to be measured for your own Scottish Cup suit as worn by the Hibs players at Hampden, a visit from Stevenson and team-mate Paul Hanlon – accompanied by the trophy – to enjoy a chat about that epic day in May over a cup of tea, shirts signed by Scott Brown and Leigh Griffiths, tickets for the Manchester v Arsenal game at Old Trafford in November and for next February’s English League Cup final at Wembley will also be going under the hammer.
In all 31 items are up for auction and bids can also be made online at www.lewistestimonialauction.com
