HIBS supporters will get the chance to air their views to Rod Petrie at a meeting later on Thursday.
The Easter Road chairman has invited representatives of fans’ forum websites hibs.net, hibeesbounce and the supporter-led group, Let’s Work Together, to the stadium for a question-and-answer session.
Petrie is likely to be grilled on recent performances by Pat Fenlon’s side, who lost 1-0 to a young Hearts team at Tynecastle last weekend.
Fans are believed to be so frustrated by Hibs’ start to the campaign that there have been attempts to arrange a protest outside the stadium before this weekend’s SPFL Premiership clash with Dundee United.
The club’s season has got off to a disappointing start, the team having lost all four matches played, conceding 11 goals and scoring none.
With those statistics in mind – and in particular the 9-0 aggregate loss to Malmo in the Europa League qualifiers – there has been speculation over the future of former Bohemians boss Fenlon and the Hibs manager is coming under increasing pressure from fans.
A poll on a Hibs supporters’ website showed that 95 per cent of more than 500 fans polled want the Irishman to leave the club. However, speaking after the Edinburgh derby on Sunday, the Irishman insisted he believes his squad are not too far away from their first victory.
