HIBS staged a storming comeback to clinch their place in the third round of the League Cup - but only by the skin of their teeth.

Two down with just 12 minutes remaining, Alan Stubbs side looked down and out until Farid El Alagui headed home two fantastic goals before substitute Sam Stanton claimed victory with a stunning last-minute winner.

But it had looked all so different when Mich Megginson and then Mark Gilhaney struck for the part-timers who just ran out of legs in those final, despairing minutes.
