Hibs have completed the signing of Israeli international goalkeeper Ofir Marciano on a one-year loan deal from FC Ashdod.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper, who has been capped ten times by his country, arrives as Hibs’ new No.1, with the club in the process of finalising a work permit for the former Mouscron player.
Marciano told the club’s official website: “I am very happy to be here. I have had a look at the stadium today and am very excited about coming here and playing in front of the fans.
“I know the club’s ambitions. There’s an expectation after the cup win last season and I hope we can meet these and make the fans happy.”
