Lewis Allan scored a hat-trick as Hibs Under-20s bulldozed their Dundee counterparts 7-0 at Ainslie Park in the SPFL Development League.

Striker Allan was joined on the scoresheet by Sam Stanton, who netted a double, Jake Sinclair and substitute Cody Mulhall as the young Hibees continued their unbeaten run since Joe McBride came in to be the manager of the team.

Stanton put Hibs ahead with a close-range finish and Allan made it two shortly afterwards, latching on to a through-ball to finish smartly. Stanton made it three just after the half-hour mark as Hibs went in well clear at half-time.

More goals were to come, firstly from Mulhall as he curled home a fine effort in off the post and then from Allan with a clinical finish from inside the penalty area. Jake Sinclair tapped in at the far post to make it six and then Allan completed the rout – and his hat-trick – to make it 7-0.

Hibs Under-20s: Brennan, Dunsmore, Crane, Gardiner, McGregor, Martyniuk, Martin (Mulhall 45), Harris (Jordan Sinclair 65), Allan, Jake Sinclair, Stanton (Hendry 65).
