Hibs face being inactive for nearly two-and-a-half weeks if they finish second in the Scottish Championship after the confirmed dates for the Premiership were published yesterday.

All six ties will be screened live on BT Sport, with the quarter-finals – third versus fourth in the Championship – taking place on Saturday, May 9 at 5.30pm (first leg) and Sunday, May 17 (second leg).

The semi-final, which is the winner of third v fourth against second, has its first leg on Wednesday, May 20 at 7.45pm, with the second leg on Saturday, May 23 with a 12noon kick-off.

If Hibs finish second, they would enter at this stage, meaning there would be a big gap between the first leg and their last league match this Saturday (May 2).

The first leg of the final is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, with the second leg on Sunday, May 31 at 3pm.
