HIBS today announced the signing of 25-year-old striker Dominique Malonga on a two-year deal.
Malonga, a free agent, played in Serie A with Cesena and had loan spells with other Italian clubs Foggia, Vicenza and Real Murcia in Spain.
Malonga said: “I’m very happy to be here and to be given the opportunity to sign for Hibs – it’s a great club and Edinburgh is a magnificent city.
“My aim is to score goals for Hibs, to help the team to win regularly and to hopefully bring joy to the supporters.”
Malonga’s signing boosts Hibs boss Alan Stubbs’ attacking options with top scorer Farid El Alagui sidelined following surgery on a ruptured Achilles tendon.
