The Black Cats will visit Easter Road on Sunday, July 9, and half the proceeds of the game, which will kick off at 2pm, will be shared by various charities including Cardiac Risk in the Young and Leith Links, the project which helps disadvantaged children attend Hibs home matches.

Now 29, Stevenson made his debut for the Capital club as a 17-year-old and has gone on to play 362 games in a green and white shirt, becoming the first Hibs player to win both the Scottish and League Cups.

Ticket arrangements for the match will be announced later.
