Hibs Under-20s ran out 4-1 winners over Rangers for the second time this season.
First-half goals from Taylor Hendry, a Calum Gallagher own goal and Jordon Forster handed the visitors a three-goal half-time lead.
Franck Dja Djedje extended the lead in the second half, before Ryan Hardie tapped in a consolation goal for Rangers.
Hardie wasted a good opportunity to head the hosts in front in the sixth minute, but it was Hendry’s header that put Hibs firmly in the driving seat as he met Jordan Sinclair’s in-swinging corner after 11 minutes.
Soon after, Djedje had an effort saved, before Tomas Cerny saved Fraser Aird’s shot.
However, Hibs continued to press forward and dominate proceedings.
They were rewarded in the 30th minute when Conner Duthie’s free-kick was diverted into the net by Gallagher to make it 2-0.
The visitors continued to control the match and duly added a third in the 40th minute when Forster steered home Hendry’s cross as Hibs relentlessly tore their opponents apart.
Aaron Dunsmore hit the post before the half ended but, 11 minutes after the break, Hibs added a fourth as Ivorian forward Djedje pounced on Kelly’s save and smashed the ball home to extend the lead.
Rangers replied instantly as Hardie tapped into an empty net.
The hosts wasted several opportunities to claw themselves back into the game, however, Hibs held firm and could have added a fifth goal as Hendry hit the post late on.
Despite that miss, Joe McBride’s side were convincing winners and ensured they inflicted a second heavy defeat of the season on their opponents rivals.
