Both legs of Hibs’ Premiership Play-Off Final against Hamilton are to be shown live on television.

Following an 11th-place finish, Terry Butcher’s side must overcome Accies to retain their status in the top flight.

With only 2700 tickets available to away fans for Wednesday’s first leg at New Douglas Park (kick-off 7.45pm), Hibs fans will welcome news that the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports .

The second leg at Easter Road on Sunday (3.30pm) will be screened by BT Sport 1.

BBC Scotland, meanwhile, will show highlights on the nights of each leg.

Neil Doncaster, SPFL chief executive, said: “Interest in the new Premiership Play-Off has been huge and the level of excitement is only set to increase further this week.

“We are delighted to confirm Sky Sports, BT Sport and BBC Scotland will all play a role in bringing both legs of the final to football fans across Scotland.”
