Paul Hanlon is close to making a decision over his future after holding further talks with Hibs at the end of last week.
The long-serving defender is out of contract for the first time since coming through the ranks at his boyhood club and is free to sign for whoever he wishes this summer.
After enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, the 26-year-old’s stock is high and he has options on the table from elsewhere. However, he is still very much open to the idea of staying with Hibs and met his representatives last night for further discussions on his future.
Hanlon broke into the Easter Road first team as a 17-year-old under Mixu Paatelainen and has since amassed more than 250 appearances for the club.
