LIVINGSTON were dumped out of the Ramsdens Cup after a 3-2 extra-time defeat by League Two outfit Berwick Rangers.
The hosts took the lead at Shielfield Park just before the half-hour mark when new loan signing Owen Ronald’s corner was headed home by Ross Gray.
Marc McNulty missed the chance to level by hitting his penalty over the bar, but the Livi striker made amends late on by heading home Martin Scott’s cross to force extra time.
Livi were reduced to ten men four minutes after the restart when Jason Talbot was sent off for foul and abusive language.
Berwick made the most of the advantage on 99 minutes when Josh Morris fired home before Ronald celebrated his debut with a superb strike into the top corner. Simon Mensing scored a late consolation from the spot.
