The SFA hearing into Livingston’s majority shareholder Neil Rankine’s reported interest in two other Scottish clubs isn’t expected to reach its conclusion until next month.

The SFA met yesterday with the aim of proving Rankine, who owns 50 per cent of the shares at Livingston, has a working relationship with East Fife majority shareholders, mother and daughter Lorraine and Samantha Twigg, as well as Dumbarton FC’s holding company that is said to owe him £200,000.

However, the national governing body’s judicial panel will now hear a second day of evidence on November 7 before any verdict is determined.
