Tonight’s Dechmont Forklift League Cup tie at Newtown Park is a winner-takes-all clash between Bo’ness and Sauchie.

The winners will go forward to a semi-final against Newtongrange Star. Bo’ness boss Paul Ronald, whose side let slip a two-goal lead to draw with Camelon on Saturday, said: “This game would have been a bit more comfortable had we won on Saturday. A draw would have seen us through. However, it makes it a better game for the supporters.

“We need some big performances and a clean sheet into the bargain. Sauchie will be coming here looking to cause an upset. They are a Super League side on merit and it will be a tough one for us.” The game kicks-off at 6.30pm.

In last night’s dead rubber matches, Linlithgow beat hosts Whitburn 3-1 in Group B while Fauldhouse United saw off West Calder United 3-2.

In Group C, Spartans held
visitors Bonnyrigg Rose 1-1 while Dalkeith Thistle edged Arniston 4-2 in a Group D tie.
