AFTER the highs of last weekend’s Junior Cup win over Auchinleck Talbot, Bo’ness Utd crashed back to earth in the Super League, losing 3-0 at home to in-form Bonnyrigg Rose.
Two goals in three minutes put the visitors in the driving seat. On 26 minutes Stuart Roseburgh jinked past a number of Bo’ness players before sliding the ball to Keiran Renton, who cut in from the left to slip the ball low past keeper Mark Peat. This was followed by a Stephen Manson corner from the left, the ball curling into the Bo’ness net.
Despite early second-half pressure from Bo’ness, it was Bonnyrigg who sealed the points in 58 minutes. Kris Renton seemed to be the one taking a free kick shot from 22 yards but it was a diversion and Stuart Roseburgh fired home.
