Edinburgh City, who drew 1-1 with the students of Edinburgh University at the weekend, now travel to meet East Seniors Central Taxis Premier Division challengers Stirling University at Gannochy Sports Centre tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Stirling are second, three points behind Spartans and with this game in hand after they beat Lothian Thistle 4-1 on Monday night.

“Stirling are a good footballing side and that suits us,” said City’s co-manager, John Green, who will be without the injured Miles Hunter and the unavailable Ruaraidh Scott and Grant Vanson.

Elsewhere, Whitehill Welfare meet Spartans at Ferguson Park in the semi-final of the King Cup, kick-off 7.00pm.
