A double from Dean Horribine and an opening strike from George Hunter gave Spartans a 3-0 win over Cumbernauld Colts at Ainslie Park.
Spartans went ahead after 26 minutes when Hunter collected the ball in the Colts box before leaving keeper Chris Fahey with little chance as he fired home from ten yards.
With three minutes of the first half remaining, Ross Gray headed into the path of Horribine who lobbed a stranded Fahey to double the lead.
Horribine wrapped up proceedings at the final whistle capitalising on a Fahey faux pas to slide the ball home to bag his brace.
