Errol Douglas bagged four goals as Spartans eased into the second round of the South Challenge Cup with a 9-0 demolition of Burntisland Shipyard.
Douglas opened the scoring after 22 minutes fine a low strike from outside the box before Kevin Motion doubled the lead ten minutes later with a pin-point strike from 20 yards.
Douglas added his second of the afternoon and Spartans third just before half-time when he lobbed the ball over Jordan Mushet in the Shipyard goal.
It took Spartans until the 63rd minute to add a fourth when Gary Cennerazzo took advantage of a short corner and fired a powerful strike into the far corner of the net.
Keith McLeod added a fourth in the 65th minute when he headed home an Alan Brown cross before Douglas completed his hat-trick ten minutes later when his overhead kick hit the bar and bounced down over the line.
Subs Craig Stevenson and Mike Bruce added goals in the 77th and 82nd minute as Spartans were in total control before Douglas completed the victory with his fourth of the afternoon. The pacey strike danced around three defenders before rounding Muhset.
