Edinburgh City have added firepower to their squad with the signing of former Selkirk striker Ousman See.
The 21-year-old has scored three goals in five appearances as a trialist for the Lowland League champions, including a recent double against Vale of Leithen.
Manager Gary Jardine has been hopeful of signing See permanently for the last few weeks, and was delighted to finally get his man’s signature. “I’ve made no secret of my desire to add Ouzy to our squad and I’m delighted that he’s decided to join us,” said Jardine. “He has shown real quality as a trialist in our last five league games and while his three goals in that spell have shown that he is a quality finisher, I’ve been just as impressed by his work rate off the ball.”
See returns to City after spending two years with the club as a youngster.
Due to the player being under the age of 23, the Meadowbank club will now negotiate with former club Selkirk to agree how much compensation is to be paid now that See has made the switch.
