Linlithgow Rose’s William Hill Scottish Cup fourth-round replay against Forfar Athletic has been abandoned due to floodlight failure.

The match at Station Park was halted only minutes in after one half of the stadium was plunged into darkness.

The players were taken off the pitch and 20 minutes later the call was made to postpone the tie.

The game was also marred by Linlithgow Rose fans throwing flares onto the pitch just before kick-off.

An alternative date will be announced in due course. The winners are due to face Ross County away in the last 16.
