Hibs UNDER-20s are in action tonight when they face East Seniors side Spartans at Ainslie Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Hibs youngsters have not played since they drew 1-1 with Ross County in mid-December and James McDonaugh, Head of Academy Coaching at Easter Road, said: “The players are desperate to play and get a game under their belts before they return to competitive
action.

“We like playing at Ainslie Park and we know that it will be a challenging game.

“We will field some of our
Under-17s as there are a few of the Under-20s out on loan, while first-team squad members Danny Handling and Ross Caldwell will also not feature.”

Spartans’ manager Douglas Samuel is looking forward to the match ahead of his team’s return to Premier Division
action this coming Saturday against Vale of Leithen. The home side will be without Keith McLeod and Donal Henretty is unlikely to be risked as he is nursing an ankle injury.

Admission to the friendly at Ainslie Park is £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for concessions.
