Musselburgh held Bo’ness to a draw in a six-goal Super League thriller at Olivebank.

However, the lead lasted only two minutes as Bo’ness levelled when a cross to the back post was met by Ian Nimmo who headed it across goal and Steve Hislop was there to head home. A minute later the visitors were ahead when they were awarded a penalty after a clumsy challenge by Brian Martin on Nicky Walker. Darren Cribben converted the spot kick.

Pressure from the home side paid off in the second half when Connor Thompson curled a free-kck over the wall and into the net, then with five minutes to play, Steven Thompson gathered the ball on half way before unleashing a powerful shot from 20 yards to score. Musselburgh failed to hold on to a lead when a minute later they lost a controversial goal as keeper Ally Adams appeared to be fouled by substitute Zander Miller as they jumped for a high ball, but the referee allowed the goal to stand. Musselburgh defender Brian Murray was shown a straight red for saying something to the referee after the final whistle.
