Lowland LEAGUE Champions Edinburgh City have further strengthened their squad with the addition of midfielders Sean Muhsin and Nicolas Narayaninsamy, writes ROSS PILCHER.

Muhsin, 26, has crossed the Capital, joining from Lowland League rivals Spartans, having spent last season on loan at Heriot-Watt University. Paris-born Narayaninsamy, 21, makes the step up from South of Scotland League outfit Edusport Academy.

The pair join fellow summer signing Dean Carse at Meadowbank after he joined last month from Aberdeen.

Manager Gary Jardine ran the rule over both players in recent narrow friendly defeats to Alloa and Dumbarton respectively, and saw enough to convince him to add them to his squad. “Sean brings undoubted quality to the side along with a wealth of experience at our level of football” he explained. “Nicki has impressed everyone at the club and I’m sure he’ll prove to be another great find.”
