Bo’ness United maintained their title challenge with an emphatic 7-0 victory at Armadale Thiistle.

The visitors went ahead on 11 minutes when Steve Hislop scored from close range and the lead was doubled two minutes later when a powerful Stuart Hunter header found the net.

It was three on 19 minutes when a Nicky Walker effort hit the bar and Tony Jaconelli was able to nudge home the rebound. Armadale almost got one back on 28 minutes but Will Snowden cleared a Lewis Milton shot off the line. Just after the half hour mark the impressive Walker got in on the act, scoring after a fine through ball from Hislop as Bo’ness went in at the interval four up.

Bo’ness made it 5-0 on 79 minutes with a long-range effort from Darren Gribben. Armadale almost had a consolation on 84 minutes when a David Taylor effort was brilliantly saved by Mark Peat. The visitors added to their tally through Zander Miller and Keiran Anderson strikes in the closing minutes which made it 7-0. Callum Rarity received a red card for Armadale in injury time.
