The Scottish Football Association is running Summer Holiday courses for budding young footballers.

The SFA’s school holiday programme promotes a healthy lifestyle and interaction with other children for boys and girls aged between three and 12.

Children taking part will be given a chance to improve their football skills, play small-sided games and be coached by SFA coaches.

David Drummond, SFA Regional Manager, South East, said: “The holiday courses provide a safe environment for children to develop as a player, young athlete and as a person.”

The courses take place at Dalkeith Campus; Soccer City at Mayfield Industrial Estate; Poltonhall Recreation in Bonnyrigg; Penicuik Centre; Mayfield Leisure Centre, Loanhead Leisure Centre and Cowden Park in Dalkeith for children aged between 3-4 and 5-12.
