LINLITHGOW ROSE’S William Hill Scottish Cup third-round tie against Wick Academy – due to be played tomorrow evening – has been postponed following a pitch inspection this afternoon.

The match will now go ahead this Monday night should Harmsworth Park get the green light following four failed attempts to play the game.

If the Highland League outfit’s pitch remains unplayable come Wednesday, December 16, Linlithgow will travel north to play the tie on Saturday, January 9 – the day of the fourth round.
