SCOTLAND will face Germany in their bid to qualify for the 2016 European Championships – and Gibraltar.

Gordon Strachan’s men also must take on Republic of Ireland, Poland and Georgia after the draw was made in Euro 2016 host nation France today.

It is Gibraltar’s first foray into international football – last summer they lost 3-1 in a friendly against Hibs.

Scotland – who play Poland in a friendly next month – will be aiming to qualify for a major tournament for the first time since the 1998 World Cup, which was also held in France.
