Spartans take on Hibernian Ladies tomorrow with boss Debbi McCulloch looking for a big performance from her girls.
McCulloch’s side has lost both fixtures this season against the Hibees and they are determined to come out on top when the teams meet at Albyn Park (kick-off 2pm).
McCulloch commented: “Tomorrow’s fixture will be extremely tough. However, we intend to go and get the three points.”
Hibs boss Willie Kirk expects his side to bounce back after a series of disappointing results have seen them drop two places in the league.
He said: “We’ve already beaten them twice this season and we are aiming to make it a hat-trick tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Hutchison Vale are aiming to keep the pressure on Hamilton Academical when they face Falkirk at Saughton Enclosure (kick-off 2pm) in their final home game of the campaign.
Ian McDonald’s side are looking to finish top of the bottom six and both teams are locked on 27 points.
Elsewhere, it’s a big day for Hearts Women and Spartans Reserves at Recreation Park, Alloa, with both seeking promotion to Division 1.
The action gets underway at noon with South East champions and League Cup winners Hearts facing Murieston – winners of the West league.
Spartans Reserves – invited as best-placed runner-up after North champions Stonehaven declined the opportunity – face East winners Dunfermline at 3pm.
The winners of both fixtures will be promoted and then meet one another to play for the National Division 2 title, while the beaten sides will play off for the one remaining promotion place.
