ARCHERFIELD ace Elliot Saltman has completed a hat-trick of trophy triumphs in this season’s Edinburgh & East of Scotland Alliance.
A splendid two-under-par 70 (35-35) at The Roxburghe secured this season’s PGA EuroPro Tour No.1 The Professional’s Trophy in the circuit’s latest event.
Saltman finished two shots clear of the field in the scratch event, with second spot being shared by Dunbar’s ander Culverwell (37-35) and Edinburgh Golf Centre pro Craig Gordon (35-37).
In an event featuring 78 players, the top handicap prize was shared three ways on net 74 by Paul Bradbury (Kingsknowe, 4 ), Colin Fraser (Peebles) (0) and Graham Hillan (Strathaven, 4).
Top trainee was Gullane’s Keir McNicoll on 74 while the scratch spoils went to Torwoodlee’s John Denham with a net 76 off six.
Neil Henderson (Renaissance) tops the scratch order of merit with 333 points, 20 ahead of Chris Morris (Kingsknowe) with Gordon lurking in third place on 296.5.
The handicap list sees some changes, with Walter Forsyth moving up from fourth place to lead and Stuart Brown jumping from 10th to joint-third.
In two weeks, the East Alliance head to the Glen in North Berwick for the last outing before the festive break.
