Calum Hill is starting his senior year at Oregon State on home soil after being joined in Scotland by his team-mates for pre-season practice.
The ‘Beavers’ are playing at Gullane, North Berwick, Muirfield, The Renaissance Club and Kingsbarns during an eight-day visit to the Home of Golf. The trip will also see them pay a visit to Tynecastle on Saturday to watch Hearts playing Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership.
“I’m very excited about the rest of the team coming over,” said Tantallon star and 2015 Scottish Open qualifier Hill, who switched to Oregon State after two years at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. “It will be great to see how they do on the links!”
‘Beavers head coach John Reehoorn added: “I think it is real cool that we are getting to go to the home of one of our players.”
