DEER PARK is staging a charity golf day next Monday to raise funds to send a West Lothian girl to China for sight-restoring stem cell treatment.
The event is in aid of Taylor Johnson, from Bathgate, who was born blind with a rare condition called Septo Optic Dysplasis.
Her family is trying to raise £12,000 to help her get treatment in China and Deer Park are urging local golfers to support the charity day.
“We are offering a round of golf for just £10 per person, with all the proceeds going to the charity,” said general manager Kevin Mulcahy.
“It’s open to men and women. To make a booking, just call 01506 446699 and ask for the pro shop.”
