BROOMIEKNOWE’S Kate McIntosh has started the season with a flourish for the second year running.
Twelve months ago, she claimed the Scottish Junior Champion of Champions title at The Duke’s. This season the teenager has already chalked up a hole-in-one – the third of her career.
It came playing for Midlothian in a match at Baberton against a Lanarkshire side that included Curtis Cup selection Pamela Pretswell.
McIntosh aced the 17th with a 9-iron to clinch a 3 and 1 win in her match and a 2-2 draw overall.
