TWO of the Lothians Golf Association’s longest-serving officials are stepping down at the end of the season.

Tournament convenor Jimmy Lamond from Pumpherston has clocked up 26 years’ service, three more than Edinburgh man Bobby Robertson as tournament secretary.

“Both Jimmy and Bobby have been stalwarts for a long period of time and we will miss both of them,” said Lothians president Denys Flaherty.
