Longniddry amateur Iain Wilson finished with a flourish to pip former PGA champion Andrew Oldcorn in the East Alliance at Broomieknowe.
Wilson, who plays off three, birdied the final three holes to claim the Paterson Medal with a three-under net 67.
Oldcorn, who’d set the clubhouse target with his fine level-par effort, claimed the scratch spoils as consolation, beating Andrew Erskine (Ratho Park), Norman Huguet (Musselburgh) and Wilson’s cliubmate Duncan Martin by a shot.
Four players shared second spot in the handicap on 71 – Graham Hillan (Strathaven), Derek Jervis (Prestonfield), Alan MacKay (Kingsknowe) and Martin Rennie (Uphall).
Dunbar’s Gordon Hillson was top trainee on 74 while the senior prize was shared by Craigielaw’s Duncan Stewart and Willie Marr (West Lothian), also on 74.
