Golfer Kylie Walker is looking forward to having a home crowd behind her when she lines up in the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open in East Lothian later this summer.
The 27-year-old Scot is keen to add to her trophy haul having secured her maiden Ladies European Tour title in the Deloitte Ladies Open in Amsterdam last month.
“I’m really looking forward to the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open, it’s brilliant for me to play a tournament in Scotland and to have a home crowd supporting,” she said ahead of the tournament which will be played at Archerfield Links from August 29-31.
“Archerfield is a first-class golf facility, one of the best in Scotland. The Fidra course is a really good test, especially if the wind picks up. My best finish in the Scottish Open is fifth so it would be nice to improve on that this year.”
