LOTHIANS pros figured prominently in the Musselburgh qualifier for the Golfbreaks.com PGA Fourball Championship.

Richard Clark, who is attached to Bruntsfield Links, joined forces with David Broadfoot (Dumfries & County) in carding a seven-under-par 64.

That effort was matched by Greenburn’s Scott Catlin in the company of Anthony Mackrell (Playsport Golf) as the two pairings shared top spot.

Their reward is a trip to Forest Pines in Lincolnshire in October, when a £28,750 pot will be on offer in the final.

Joining them will be Craigielaw duo Jonathan Porteous and David Lang after they secured the last of the five spots up for grabs at Monktonhall with a 66.
