Turnhouse retained the Edinburgh Inter Club title on home turf after not having to wait long to gain revenge on Mortonhall.
A 7&5 victory in the final came less than a month after the defending champions had lost to the same opponents in the Edinburgh Summer League.
After a first-round bye, Turnhouse beat Baberton 8&7 then Ratho Park 5&3 to reach the final, where they were represented by Stevie Armstrong, Mark Napier, Olly McCrone and late substitute Lee McCathie.
Armstrong and Napier finished six up on Rob Paterson and Michael Boddie, with McCrone and McCathie all square against Greg Nicolson and Martin Fitheridge. “It’s always nice to get your hands on a trophy,” said Armstrong.
