Like Rickie Fowler with his shot that won the Scottish Open at Gullane last summer, a handful of young golfers have special memories of a trip to East Lothian.
It follows the latest edition of the US Kids Golf European Championship on Scotland’s Golf Coast being illuminated by a string of spectacular shots.
They included a hole-in-one, which was achieved at the fourth at the Glen by Canadian Hunter Thomson in his final round.
The North Berwick venue also produced two albatrosses, one for 12-year-old Frenchman Augustin Valery at the 15th and the other for American Sean-Karl Dobson at the eighth.
They both came after South African Angus Klintworth had also made an albatross at the 547-yard par-5 14th at Luffness New.
