City of Edinburgh Trampoline Club is celebrating as all three elite double mini trampoline entrants got through to the British finals at Liverpool’s Echo Arena in September.
This is the biggest representation any Scottish club has achieved and comes at a time when Natasha Hoffman (Liberton High), Ciara Donlevy (Earlston High) and Caitlin O’Brien (George Watson’s) have had to adapt to what club officials described as “drastic” changes in the British structure of the sport which demands high qualification scores.
Adding to a sense of anticipation is the fact the elite finals will serve as a trial event for the world championships to be held in Daytona, Florida, in November.
Natasha is last year’s national C under-15 champion, while Ciara is the 2013 national C under-17 champion as well as an international team medallist.
Not to be outdone, Caitlin is a Great Britain junior squad member and individual international medallist.
