Something has to give at the top of the men’s SVL Premier volleyball league tomorrow as the top two – Glasgow Ragazzi and City of Edinburgh – clash in Coatbridge.

Both teams are locked at the top of the table with seven wins each but Ragazzi are on a hot streak.

They have won their last five in the league, including a straight sets’ victory at City of Edinburgh in November.

The Capital side need a win to regain the leadership of the division and swing the title back in their favour.

At the lower end of the table, NUVOC hope to ease their relegation fears with victory over rivals Edinburgh Jets, who remain winless in the league.

In the women’s SVL Premier, City of Edinburgh can take a huge step towards retaining their title if they win at second-placed Su Ragazzi.

The champions have won nine out of nine in the league so far but Ragazzi have a habit of making life difficult for them.
