Capital curler Bruce Mouat faces a testing day tomorrow when he sits a university exam before rushing to Murrayfield Ice Rink to play in the Edinburgh International.
The former George Heriot’s pupil is in his third year at Napier, studying Festival and Events Management, and some juggling will be required tomorrow morning.
Mouat was due to play Finland’s defending champion Aku Kauste in his opening Group C match, but his university commitments mean he will miss that game, with Blair Fraser stepping in to replace him. At the end of his one-hour test, Mouat will travel across the city in time to play Swiss skip Felix Attinger at 4.20pm.
